Clé Abhaile – the Clé Club’s monthly online music session – presents an evening of songs about sports and other pursuits, featuring Kara O’Brien, a fine traditional singer who has also completed a dissertation on Irish hunting songs recently.
Originally from Colorado and now living in Kilkenny, Kara is one of the co-ordinators of the weekly Limerick Singing Session and a frequent contributor to the annual Inishowen Traditional Singing Weekend.
As well as songs and chat from Kara, the Zoom session will also feature a virtual sing-around of performers from the ‘floor’. Listeners are also most welcome.
