The Clé Abhaile monthly singing session on Zoom will mark April Fool’s Day with a special focus on humorous and satirical songs in the company of musician, composer, academic, researcher and author, Fintan Vallely, whose many books include the acclaimed anthology, Sing Up! Irish Comic Songs and Satires for Every Occasion, which features compositions from some of Ireland’s leading lyrical humorists, including Fintan, himself.

So if you have a comic song or a satirical verse, we would particularly like to hear from you. But, of course, you don’t have to sing a humorous song. Indeed you don’t have to sing at all. If you want to recite or indeed just listen, you are welcome to join us at 8pm (Irish time) on Monday, April 1.

All singers and listeners will be welcome.
