Tony MacMahon had long been acclaimed as one of the country’s finest box players until a serous hand tremor curtailed his ability to play. Beyond his virtuosity as a musician, Tony has also been a celebrated radio and television producer and presenter – providing a platform for numerous traditional musicians and singers.
As he approaches his eightieth birthday, the Clé Club aims to celebrate Tony’s contribution to Irish culture.
